BRUSH 2023 Recap: Year 1

BRUSH 2023 produced 5 stunning murals painted by 5 awesome teams of women and non-binary artists, which included 10 PRO Artists and 4 Rising Stars!

The October 2023 festival was in partnership with three of Baltimore’s Arts & Entertainment Districts: Station North, Bromo, and Highlandtown. You can find murals in each of these districts!

Check out a recap of BRUSH 2023 below, thanks to our friends at Noisy Tenants.

The Festival Celebration

On Saturday, October 21st, after 2 weeks of painting 5 brand new murals (and a community mural!) across the city, we celebrated at Lexington Market with a day of outdoor festivities.

Attendees had the opportunity to learn from talented artists, participate in community and family-friendly art activities, and explore a diverse array of unique and meaningful artworks available for purchase at an Artist Market produced in collaboration with BLK ASS Flea Mkt. All set within the Lexington Market Plaza with live music by Brandon Woody + UPENDO, plus an epic set by DJ Blaqstarr.
